Cheater's Beef Burgundy

1 1/2 lbs stew meat
1 cup red wine
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 packet onion soup mix
1 bag of fresh mushrooms (optional)

Stir everything together in a dutch oven or covered baking dish. Bake about 3 hours at 350 degrees.

Serve over rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes.
